LinkedIn is hunting your AI posts

LinkedIn just declared war on the exact posts most of you are writing.

LinkedIn just started suppressing the exact posts most people are writing.

Polished, fluent, and saying absolutely nothing. The platform calls it AI slop, and it is throttling the reach.

Honestly, good.

The bar was never clean writing. AI can match your grammar in a second. It cannot match your scar tissue.

The specific thing you learned the hard way, that no model has lived and no competitor can claim, is the one asset that cannot be generated.

So the move in a feed full of slop is almost unfair:

Say one true thing only you could say. Drawn from your own experience, with a real number or a real moment in it.

Everyone optimising for polish is about to go quiet. Be the one with a pulse.

What is one lesson you learned the hard way that no AI could have written for you?

The move. LinkedIn is suppressing generic AI content; the winning move is one specific point of view only you could write (your 'scar tissue'), not more polish.

LinkedIn launched a crackdown (May 2026) on 'AI slop': generic AI-written posts and comments, engagement bait, and attention-bait video, suppressing their distribution rather than removing them. The platform's own line: content that looks polished on the surface but says nothing.
